Hey team! I’m Dan, I got a job at Nova because Matt got offered a radio show and I was his housemate at the time. Since then I’ve sat opposite him while he presses the buttons, trying not to annoy him too much and fetching him water/coffees whenever he needs it. I spend my days watching a lot of YouTube, and looking up naked pictures of celebrities as “research” into the area of “hot gossip”. A favourite is Emmanuelle Chriqui from Entourage.
I have a collection of cardigans. I love expensive sandwiches, pan-asian food, and steak. I recently SMASHED the one kilo steak at Hippo Creek so I’m proud of that (my brother has eaten four). I drink about four coffees a day (best coffee in Perth is in the Plaza Arcade, at Infusions). As a result I generally go to bed about 3am.
When I was 14 I played bass in a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band called “Buster Hymen and the Penetrators”. I frequently get mistaken for a girl, usually by bogans in shopping centres who shout: “Oi, $%&# you, are you a guy or a girl!”. They must date some pretty weird looking women.
My parents live in France so I can generally live a pretty reckless lifestyle (staying up late, sleeping in, not cutting my hair etc). I don’t own any furniture, just 2 stereos, a mattress and a MacBook. My aim in life is to be Captain Jack Sparrow.
Here are my favourite TV shows: The Riches, Damages, Dexter, Arrested Development, Green Wing, the Mighty Boosh, Nathan Barley, I'm Alan Partridge, Nip/Tuck, Peep Show, Absolute Power, Flight of the Conchords, and The West Wing.
