Ryan and Monty

Contact the pair: ryanandmonty@novafm.com.au

Ryan and Monty have been great friends for years. And if you don’t count the time Ryan screamed, “I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU JUST TURNED THAT OFF, I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME!’ then you could definitely say they’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

Every Saturday morning they’re on air together from 10am till noon. That’s only 2 hours a week. So what do they do for the rest of the week? Well, I’m glad you asked. They each do a number of interesting jobs and activities that have all been made up as a way of padding out this bio…

Ryan spends 12 hours a day attempting to achieve the World Record for Longest Hand-Stand. Then at night he works as a very successful cat burglar.

Monty on the other hand is an influential member of an extremely violent street gang. This takes up so much of her time it’s amazing she finds time for radio.

But when it comes to Saturday mornings on Nova they’re both ready to talk about pretty much anything. So hopefully you can meet them on the airwaves this Saturday morning from 10!

Make Ryan a ManLately we've been trying to make Ryan a man, so we sent him to a worksite to be a chippy.

The Edgerton Brothers came in for a chat. *Snap*

Ryan and Monty had a chat with Jack Black and check all the guests in the Photo Gallery.

Monty gave Ryan a good back waxing. Check it out here.

Ryan Shelton

RyanRyan has dabbled in a variety of radio projects over the past couple of years. But this is his first regular show.

He's spent the past 4 years working mainly in television working closely with two guys who shall remain nameless because they're on another station. But together they created a 6-part comedy show on community TV station Channel 31 called 'Radio Karate'.

Ryan helped Chris Lilley write ABC comedy series 'We Can Be Heroes' before again teaming with those two unnamed guys to write and co-star in 'Real Stories' on Channel 10.

Now, Ryan continues as a regular cast member on Channel 10's 'Rove'.

Uh, what else… oh, his favourite film is 'Back to the Future II' and he loves a good bit of sushi. Oh and we should mention that he is a kind fellow but if provoked he WILL attack you.

I don't know why I wrote this in the third person, as it's obviously me writing this. So thanks for reading. Speak to you Saturday.

Monty

MontyFor the last year and a half Monty was co-hosting a breakfast radio show in the country. Before travelling to the bush to wake up before the birds she worked behind the scenes on several radio shows learning from some of the best including Tony Martin and Mick Molloy. After ringing Nova’s door bell non stop until they would let her in, she persuaded them to give her a show with the hairy guy from Rove who also happens to be one of her best mates.

Monty’s fact: She is obsessed with Sharks and John Stamos.
