Meghan Markle Attacked By Mummy-Shamers On Archie’s First Outing
Get a grip!
Carrying a newborn is tough. They squirm. You’re terrified of hurting them. They’re yet to learn how to hold on.
And it appears Meghan Markle is no exception to this learning curve, or at least that’s what the internet is shouting about.
The new royal is facing the wrath of mummy shammers after photos surfaced which appear (note: appear) to show her struggling to get a grip on baby Archie.
For the newborn royal’s first public outing, 37-year-old Meghan joined Kate Middleton and her three kids at Billingbear Polo Club. The pair watched their hubbies go head-to-head in a charity polo match. Ah, royals. Just like us.
Multiple pics have surfaced on Instagram of Meghan ~awkwardly~ gripping on to Archie, which commenters were quick to point out.
“Meghan doesn't know how to carry her own baby! Such a shame,” one user commented, while another added: “She's gonna drop that baby.”
Comments from mummy shammers were harsh, with one claiming, “You can tell she doesn’t even take care of her own kid. What kind of mother holds their baby like that.”
Others jumped to the new mum’s defence.
“... You can't put her down because she's not a pro at holding a baby,” one person wrote.
“She's still new to it and we've all held our babies awkwardly.”
Another said: “She could be a natural at home but she's probably trying to shelter from the cameras and the judgment.
“I'm guessing no one can see it from that point of view since you are all perfect parents.”
Isn't the internet such a wonderful place full of lovely people?
