Prince William And Kate Finally Meet Nephew Archie And It’s About Time
A full week after Meghan gave birth.
Now the royal baby is here and the name was announced in a respectable amount of time (looking at you Kim Kardashian), Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor has almost slipped off our radar.
Almost.... because now he has finally met his Uncle and Auntie, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
And it’s about time. Prince Harry announced the birth of Archie last Monday and there’s reason to believe the baby was born even earlier.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reportedly travelled to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor on Tuesday to meet the baby, a full week after Meghan Markle gave birth.
What have they been doing? Getting lost in Harrods trying to find the perfect gift?
After a quick stalk of their Instagram, they haven’t had any royal engagements to attend. Their last post (before their congrats to Megs and Haz) was Charlotte’s 4th birthday in early May.
There is no pictures yet from the first meeting, but at the rate they’re going we won’t see any photographic evidence for another week.
We just want to know if George, Charlotte and Louis tagged along to meet their little cousin. We wonder if they will grow up like we all did, creating dances to S Club 7 and playing murder in the dark?
While Will and Kate were giving their well wishes to Meghan, Prince Harry was off shaking hands outside Oxford Children’s Hospital.
News.com.au report he met with doctors, nurses and a patient, 13-year old Mikayla, who previously met Harry in 2016.
He was given a teddy bear from a former patient for Archie.
He also admitted that he’s still adjusting to being a dad, telling a member of the public:
“I’m not sure I’m used to it yet.”
Prince Harry announced the news of his brand new baby boy on last week with nothing but pure joy to the press outside their Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor, saying:
"I'm so incredibly proud of my wife. And as every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I'm just over the moon."
