Name a better casting, we’ll wait. 

The DC universe is gearing up for its next Batman film, The Batman with Robert Pattinson as the lead.

This is great and all - seriously, well done RPatz - but we're more interested in their Poison Ivy casting. 

And if it’s who we think it is, we need to calm down.

We know the female lead has been missing from the franchise since the 1997 Batman & Robin film in which Uma Thurman graced us with her take on the character.

But according to our mates at We Got This Covered there is a rumour circling that the female lead is returning.

Their sources also spilled the tea that Warner Bros. is looking at our girl Rihanna for the part and The Navy is losing their minds.

The publication says she is one of a few names on the studio's wish list and no formal offer has been made. She may not even be keen. 

But not going to lie, she would fit into that role and the DC universe perfectly.

Rihanna would be joining the likes of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn as fellow female character in DC.
