Sad news for Kate Middleton amid pregnancy announcement
Poor thing! This sucks.
If there’s one thing parents know (apart from how to get boogers out of noses of all shapes and sizes) it’s that childhood goes very, very fast.
The royal family certainly aren’t immune to this but the reality of it is about to hit Kate Middleton hard.
As most know, the Duchess of Cambridge suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum, known colloquially as extreme morning sickness. While this condition is difficult enough, it looks like it may cause her to miss her son Prince George’s first day of school on Thursday.
The royal couple is expected to take their son to an independent school called Thomas’s Battersea on Thursday but with Kate already pulling out of two public engagements this week, it appears she'll be unable to attend her son’s big day.
On Tuesday William said Kate was well, but admitted:
“There’s not much sleep going on at the moment. We need Catherine to get over this first bit and then we can start celebrating. It’s always a bit anxious to start with, but she’s well.”
Kate is reportedly under 12 weeks pregnant meaning a new royal baby will arrive around March 2018.
In true royal British style, a four-year-old George will be taking classes in everything from French and music to ballet and drama.
We don’t know about you, but we’re beyond excited to see little Georgie in a British school uniform. He’s reportedly going to be dressed in a navy pullover, Bermuda-style shorts, long red socks and black shoes.
