A Star Is Born To Return To Cinemas With Previously Unseen Songs
Prepare the tissues!
A Star Is Born is all anyone can talk about right now.
The movie has absolutely DOMINATED Hollywood (and our hearts) since it’ release in October 2018.
It made us FEEL things and Shallow has become the unofficial soundtrack to our lives.
Mostly because we play it on repeat constantly.
In honour of Lady Gaga’s Oscars win, Warner Bros. Studios have announced a special cinematic re-release of the film.
The encore screening will run for a week and feature 12 MINUTES WORTH of extra footage not included in the original release.
Audiences will get to see extended performances of Black Eyes, Alibi and Shallow (the car park version where Lady Gaga’s character first sings the tune).
Unfortunately it’s too good to be true: the re-release is currently only scheduled for theatres in North America.
Proof the world is a cruel place.
BUT there’s a silver lining: Warner Bros. has released a never-before-seen short clip of Ally and Jackson (AKA Gaga and Bradley Cooper) writing the song Clover before their Coachella performance.
Prepare for all the feels:
How we feel:
Here's hoping ‘Straya isn’t forgotten forever.
While we not so patiently wait for our own re-release of the film, you can catch us re-watching all of the A Star Is Born things. Our best picks:
1) The OG film with Barbra Streisand
2) This scene
3) Gaga and Bradley’s Oscars performance
